2024-09-23T18:33:12  <acidsys> for reference, the "process" after applying Salt to change the XML is to stop the VM, remove kvm/nvram/<fqdn>.fd, `start --console` the VM, hammer ESC to get into the EFI setup, navigate through to boot from file -> opensuse -> shim.efi, then boot normally. afterwards reinstall the boot entry (shim-install should be enough but better just `pbl --config --install`)
